Ella Rose Wood, 85 of Malden went home to be with the Lord Friday May 23, 2014. Ella was born at Jodie on January 3, 1929 to the late Chester & Gladys Skaggs Huffman. She was a member of the Malden Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wood; sister, Violet Mae Hensley. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Keith) Stathers of Nitro; son, Clarence E. (Heather) Wood of Milton; sister, Ada Fern Morris of Hughes Creek; grandchildren, Karen, Chrissy & Keith Stathers, Shannon & Nathan Wood; great grandchildren, Alexis, Grace & Isaac.
