Daphne Joy Fiber, 88, of Charleston passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by husband, James D. Fiber Sr. and daughter, Brenda Truman.
She was retired from the US Post Office and faithfully attended and served at Asbury United Methodist Church and The Southeast Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her children, Sharon King and Nathan Nutter; step-children, John Fiber, Sr. and Joyce Brenan and James Fiber, Jr.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. David Spence officiating. The burial will follow the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to a charity of choice.
