Charles Victor "Charlie" Pierson

Charles was born on June 22, 1929 to the late Granville Thomas and Leona Ethel Pierson in Perry Township, Gallia County, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his four brothers and seven sisters, his young son, Danny Gene Pierson, his adult son, Charles Thomas Pierson, and his beautiful, faithful wife, Emma Jean Bowles Pierson.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Delores Jean “Jeanie” and Walter, his daughter, Leona Charlotte “Roni” and John, his daughter in law, Drema Kay, his son Louie Victor “Vic” and Jenny, his son Samuel Carl “Sam” and Melissa, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by this large, extended family and his numerous friends.

Charles was a 49 year member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 625 Union, a former Member of The Gideons International, and a member of Walnut Gap Missionary Baptist Church.

The Funeral service to celebrate the life of this great man will be held on Monday, September 10th at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home on 4203 Salines Drive in Malden. Visitation will be held between 6:00pm and 7:30pm. The service will begin at 7:30pm with Rev. Samuel C. Pierson, Jr. officiating, Erin Pierson singing and Greg Douglas playing the piano.
