Barbara Jean Schultz, 79, of Charleston, passed away at CAMC Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. She was born on December 19, 1938 in Charleston to the late Howard and Lois Jean Justice.
She was a former office clerk for the Minute Man Car Wash and a lifelong member of the Southeast Church of the Nazarene, where she was very involved in the church activities. She also loved to travel and play dominoes.
Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 40 plus years, Walter J. “Bo” Schultz; and brother, Robert Justice.
She is survived by her children, Jeff (Kim) Schultz of Hurricane, Becky (Jeff) Pederson of Grovetown, GA, and Greg (Nancy) Schultz of Ohio; brothers, Charles and Howard Justice; sister, Dottie Kerns; five grandchildren, Tyler (Sarah) Pederson, Jeremy (Katelynn) Schultz, Kara (Justin) Garren, David (Rachel) Schultz and Heather Brooner; six great-grandchildren, Audrey and Brady Garren, who she adored and loved spending time with, Hannah and Hailey Brooner, Ellie Schultz and Parker James Schultz, who is due this month.
The funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Southeast Church of the Nazarene, Charleston, with Pastor Bart Hodel and the Rev. Ollie Parsons officiating. The burial will follow the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
A visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.
