Terri Wright Evans, 50, of Madison Heights, went to sleep in her Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Dennis Evans.
Born on November 8, 1966 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late William A. Wright, Sr. and the late Phyllis Tyree Wright.
Terri worked for the Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of Lynchburg Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed crafts, singing, and her beloved dog, Sophie but her greatest passion was being her daughters #1 fan. Terri was also instrumental in getting the Old Towne signs for Madison Heights and getting Epilepsy Awareness legislation passed.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a half-brother, Sterling Brent Hulsizer.
Terri is survived by her daughter, Kailey Evans; sister, Donna W. Campbell and husband Tony; brother, Billy Wright and wife Lisa; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Lynchburg Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Mike Hewitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your local humane society or St. Judes.
