Ronald Eugene White, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 5, 2024, in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was born on March 31, 1953, to Ernest Wesley White and Mary Madeline Taylor White.
Ronald, known for his vibrant personality and sense of humor, was a true jack of all trades. He had a passion for NASCAR, football, TV, fishing, hunting, and gardening. He had a special fondness for Diet Dr. Pepper and was always ready to crack a joke or share a captivating story. His warm and welcoming nature meant that he never knew a stranger.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Edna White, and their four sons: Timothy White, Brian White, Joseph White (Ashley), and Jamie White (Tiffany). He also leaves behind a cherished legacy through his grandchildren: Tyler, Jordan, Jayleigh, Jaedyn, Bryson, Elijah, Grayson, AdyB, Addison, and Kaylee.
In addition to his immediate family, Ronald had close connections with special friends, Bobby Tyree and David Cheatham, who shared in his joys and sorrows.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, Alexis, and two brothers, Donald White and Wesley White.
A visitation to celebrate Ronald's life will be held on Thursday, February 8, at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights from 5 pm to 8 pm. The graveside service will take place at the Monacan Indian Family Cemetery on Ruth Drive, off of Monacan Park Drive in Madison Heights, at 11 am. Pastor Adam Williams will officiate the service.
