Born October 16, 1954 Roger, a soul who found his joy in the embrace of nature and the sweet song of country music. Roger lived the epitome of adventure, whether he was hunting, casting lines fishing, riding trails on his four-wheeler, or simply enjoying the mountains. Music was his heart's language, and he enjoyed playing his guitar, singing country and bluegrass tunes that resonated with the soul. Proud of his Monacan heritage, Roger wore his roots with pride. Roger dedicated thirty years of his life to working as an electrician at CVTC, a role he carried out with honor. His warm presence lit up the lives of all who knew him, and though he's left us, his spirit will forever dance in our memories. Roger will be dearly missed, but his laughter and love will live on in our hearts, a cherished melody that never fades.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his siblings Ronnie Lee Branham, Donna Lynn Gunter; and one grandchild Caden Michael Angus Branham.
Those left to cherish Roger’s memory include his loving wife of 52 beautiful years Peggy A. Branham; his children Roger Shane Branham, Heather Renae Branham; his grandchildren Lauren Ann Branham, Kayla Elizabeth Branham; his great-grandchild Hallie Beth Branham; his step-granddaughter Whitney Vaughn; and his sister Norma Jean Steele and her husband Barry.
