Mildred Anderson Worsham

Born October 12, 1933 in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey E. and Ruth Cage Anderson and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent, Robert, and Edison Anderson and three sisters, Alene A. Allred, Ruby A. Reynolds, and Nancy A. Moorefield. Mrs. Worsham was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Worsham is survived by two children, Philip T. Worsham and Sheila W. Peters and husband Fred, all of Madison Heights; three sisters, Barbara A. Webber of Pamplin, Betty A. Davis and husband Phillip of Gladys, and Connie A. Pollard of Brookneal; three grandchildren, Mary L. Johnson, Christopher D. Peters and wife Tracy, and Amanda Leigh Peters; four great grandchildren, Dylen, Lauren, Brennan, and Grayson. She is also survived by her special friend, Homer Tyree of Madison Heights.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Dr. Todd Blake officiating. Interment will follow at Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery in Nathalie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
