Mary Campbell Burge

She was born on December 15, 1950 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Otey and Rozella Campbell.

Mary attended Lynchburg schools and was a thoughtful and generous wife, mother and friend. She would be considered a Proverbs 31 woman, who enjoyed people and was always cheerful in life. A special thanks to Kristi, Brenda, and Patricia for always being by Mary’s side.

Survivors include 3 children, Roger Lee Burge, Jr. (Denita), Pamela Campbell, and Roger Lee Campbell, Jr.; 2 brothers, Melvin Thomas Campbell (Jane) and Roger Lee Campbell; 5 grandchildren, Paris Michelle Small, Dakota Lee Burge, Caylin Roze Campbell, Christian Walker Harris and Savannah Alexandra Martin. Numerous cousins that loved her also survive her.

Friends may stop by Whitten Monelison Chapel on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 9 - 5 to pay their respects. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Concord.
