Laura was a loving, caring person and godly example to everyone she met. She was also incredibly diligent and passionate in all her endeavors, whether raising her 4 children or spoiling her 11 grandchildren, serving in the church she loved so dearly, or sacrificially offering her time and advice to someone in need. Of all her life’s passions, though, one stands above the rest: Laura wanted everyone she met to know Jesus. Her passion for Jesus and for others was the driving force behind her life on earth, and now she is enjoying her eternal reward in heaven. She now sees Jesus face to face, and there is no other place she’d rather be.
Laura lived her entire life to bring others to Jesus Christ. She was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for she knew it was the power of God unto salvation!
She modeled how to be sensitive to God’s plans and purposes, and she raised her kids to approach every challenge as an opportunity to grow in the strength, knowledge, and grace of Jesus. She was always available to talk and was always ready to offer wisdom and insight into difficult situations or just to listen if that’s what was needed. She never failed to leave a significant impression on every person she interacted with.
She also knew she was a sinner saved by grace and was aware of her constant need of that grace. If she were here right now, Laura would want you to answer one question: what will you do with Jesus?
