Johnny's enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he lived it to the fullest. He had an adventurous spirit, taking pleasure in developing properties across Amherst County. He was particularly proud of the development of Poplar Grove Golf Club. Poplar Grove was his idea and dream of developing a property that the Amherst Community could be proud of and enjoy forever. He believed that life was meant to be embraced, and his zest for living inspired those around him to do the same.
He was particularly fond of his wife’s loving dog, Sophie, who stayed by his side after her passing.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Care Team for the care given to Johnny during the last month.
