Iris Cabell Brizendine
August 13, 1930 – February 21, 2012
IN THE CARE OF
Iris Cabell Doss Brizendine, 81, of Madison Heights, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Fairmont Crossing. She was the wife of the late Raymond Alexander Brizendine.
Born August 13, 1930 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Edward and Grace Cheatham Doss. She was a former employee of the Amherst County Public School System and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brizendine is survived by her daughter, Gracie B. Musher and husband, Larry of Baltimore, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Marvin Suitt officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 -8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
