Fayetta R Lee

Born on August 12, 1924 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late James B. Reynolds and the late Effie May Poe Reynolds and the foster daughter of the late James and Classie Davidson. Fayetta retired from the Central Virginia Training Center after 25 years of service and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. Taking care of her family was her passion.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by daughter, June Denton; brother, James B. Reynolds, Jr.; half-sister, Francis Mullens; granddaughter, Laura Lee; and great grandson, Thomas Denton.

She is survived by her loving and caring children, Ronnie Lee, Regina Fulcher, and James Lee and wife Sadie; six grandchildren, Thomas Brian Denton, Cheryl Hughes and husband Rob, Amanda Lee, Miranda Langlois and husband Joseph, Marla Buck and husband Joseph, and Vivian Lee; six great grandchildren, Caleb Buck, Tyler Buck, Carter Hughes, Katelyn Hughes, Kensley Hughes, and Sydnie Stinnette; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the family farm.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Oakdale Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Wornstaff and Pastor Robert E. Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Meade Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Oakdale Baptist Church, 1154 Brightwells Mill Rd, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
