Eleanor Bryant Bryant Wood

Born February 1, 1927 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Landon Cyrus Bryant and Josie Evans Bryant. She was retired from the Amherst County Service Authority and was a member of Madison Heights Christian Church.

Mrs. Wood is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Dawson and husband Dan of Amherst and Cathy Cash and husband Carlton of Madison Heights; a sister, Peggy Thomas of Madison Heights; four grandchildren, Jason Dawson, Stephanie Feyerherd, Chad Dawson, and Barry Cash and five great grandchildren, Haley, Cameron, Molly, Annabelle, and Landon.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton, The Rev. George Harris, and the Rev. Terry St. John officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the funeral home.
