Earl Scott Nicholson

Earl Scott Nicholson, 70, of Madison Heights, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Front Royal, he was the son of the late Florine Nicholson. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leon Nicholson. Earl is survived by his sister, Marie Sizemore and her husband Skip of Culpeper and many dear friends all over Madison Heights. Earl was widely known in the Madison Heights community. He was easily recognized walking up and down Rt. 29 in Madison Heights carrying his backpack. He worked part time at the Madison Heights Dairy Queen and Watts Petroleum. He also enjoyed spending time at the Madison Heights Dixie Youth Baseball field. He was an active and dedicated member of Temple Baptist Church. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Meade Cemetery with Pastor Steve Esterline officiating.
