David Allen Ward

He was born in Richmond on May 28, 1955, son of the late Earl C. Ward, Sr. and the late Irene I. Ward. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earl C.Ward, Jr. and four sisters, Grace Bagby, Faye Wade, Christine McKinney, and Lucy Duffy.

David was retired from Wexco and was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church. He was a great outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Hunter A. Ward and his wife Jodi and Casey L. Ward; a brother, Bobby Ward and wife Tessa; a sister, Juanita Ennis and husband Wayne. A grandson, Vance

Ward, also survives him.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 3:50 pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel where a Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 with Rev. Curtis Walkup officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016.
