David Carroll Dudley Sr.

Born March 6, 1953 in Lynchburg, VA, he was a son of the late Linnie Riley Dudley, Sr. and Helen Hockett Dudley.

David worked for the Training School for many years and was a retired plumber. He had a tremendous love for golfing, working on cars, and riding in his jeep. He also loved NASCAR racing and was a huge Alabama football fan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by two children; his son, David “Bo” C. Dudley, Jr. and wife Sarra; his daughter, Janie Elizabeth Camilla Dudley (Gary); two brothers, Kelley W. Dudley and Linnie Dudley, Jr. and his wife Judy; three grandchildren, Rachel Argenbright, Walker Argenbright, and Megan Aderholt.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April, 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Whitten Monelison Chapel followed by interment at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
