Charles Keith Beasley

Charles Keith Beasley, 67, of Madison Heights, passed away, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of Virgie Miller Beasley. Born May 22, 1947, in Lynchburg, he was the son of Charles Randolph Beasley and the late Lillian Tyree Beasley.

Charles was a retired accounts manager for Lucent Technologies and he was a member of Thomas Terrace Baptist Church. Charles also served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Beasley Dorr (David) of Madison Heights, Nita Beasley Hrabosky (Christopher) of Seven Lakes, NC and Kristi Beasley Crowley (Charles) of Raleigh, NC; two siblings, Gary Beasley (Betty) of Madison Heights and Wanda Clements (Dwayne) of Madison Heights; eight grandchildren, Kayla Dorr, Katie Dorr, Krystal Dorr, Trent Dorr, Zachary Hrabosky, Matthew Hrabosky, Abbie Crowley, and Leah Crowley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Thomas Terrace Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Grooms officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Thomas Terrace Baptist Church and at other times at the residence.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomas Terrace Baptist Church Youth and Singles Ministries or the American Cancer Society.
