Chancer Humphries Jamison

Chancer Humphries Jamison, 58, of Madison Heights passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the devoted wife of Barry Buford Jamison, Jr. Born March 15, 1960, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Archie Elton Humphries and the late Vernell Sprouse Humphries.

In addition, Chancer was a loving mother to Olivia Chancer Moore (Michael) of San Diego, CA and Paul Landon Jamison (Jessica) of Salem; she is also survived by four siblings, Leroy Humphries (Teresa), Brenda Staton (Clayton), Cynthia Stinson (Steve) and Darlene Humphries – all of Madison Heights; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Elon Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Tyree officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Elon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will have a fellowship following the service at the church.
