Blanche Chenault Watts

Born on January 1, 1935, in Enfield, VA, Blanche was the daughter of the late Robert T. Chenault and the late Lucie C. Chenault. She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon H. Watts; her sister, Lucie Chenault, and grandson, Eric Steinlein.

Blanche was very devoted to Fairview United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Challenger Sunday School Class, a member of the Pep Club, and the Administrative Council as well as serving as a Lay Leader. She was also known for having a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters; Susan W. Cash (Troy) and Mary Beth Frain; one son, G. Martin Watts; six grandchildren, Mackenzie Cash, Hunter Cash, Alice Cord (Carl), Erica Steinlein, Jessica Watts, and Samantha Jenny (Max); one niece, Teresa Moore Wood; one nephew, W. Christopher Moore; and a cousin, William Gillikin (Linda). Blanche is also survived by six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel from 11:00 -11:50 am followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Tim Earnhardt officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
