Anna Mae Hamilton Zellmer, 84, of Monroe, died, Sunday, June 9, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward Charles Zellmer, Jr. Born September 12, 1928, in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Hamilton and the late Dena Adcock Hamilton.
Anna was a retired cafeteria worker for Shepherd’s Girls School.
In addition to her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Scott W. Hamilton and two sisters, Mildred H. Gocusth and Cecil H. Terry.
Anna is survived by her sister, Dorothy H. Thomsen of Baltimore, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted, 2 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013, at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Ellicott City, MD, with Spiritual Leader Matt Latimer officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
