Sheina was born prematurely, weighing a little over 4 pounds at birth. She had a hole in her heart from a congenital heart defect after having undergone 4 surgeries before the age of 4. Due to oxygen deprivation as a baby, Sheina faced mental challenges.
She graduated from John Lee, a special needs high school, and worked at Social Resources until they closed during the COVID pandemic.
Sheina accepted Christ at an early age. She loved listening to Shirley Caesar and Aretha Franklin.
Sheina loved her family. She enjoyed riding to the Civic Center with her dad, going out to eat, shopping, kittens and puppies.
Shiena departed this life on Friday, March 28, 2025.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her parents, Robert and Sandra; her siblings: Sharvell (Jerry), Melissa, Melita, Rondell, Nakia, and Raynondo (Candice); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial gathering for Sheina will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, Michigan.
