Nancy was a proud graduate of Pershing High School, class of 1961. Throughout Nancy’s life she held various jobs, but her favorite role was at Our Lady Queen of Heaven, where she found immense joy working with children. As a devoted nanny for many years, she touched countless young lives, creating a legacy of care and love that will be remembered by all who knew her.
Nancy also loved helping family members whenever she could, always putting others before herself. Her generous spirit and joyful presence will deeply be missed by her family and friends.
Nancy was a beloved mother to Joseph (Gloria) Rayles; a cherished sister to Anna (Bob) Rybicki, Lucy (John) Fornelli, Rose (Charles) Eldridge and the late Nick (Kathy) Di Natale; a loving aunt to Jean Marie (Martin), John, Catherine (Jose), Charlie, Dominick, Angela (Brady), Nick (Debbie), and Matthew (Peggy).
A visitation for Nancy will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
A visitation will occur Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
An in-state will occur Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 11:00 AM up until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM at SS. Cyril & Methodius Slovak Catholic Church, 41233 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314.
Immediately following the Funeral Mass a graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038.
