Michael T. Starosciak

A dedicated, loving and proud father to Morgan Leigh and Ryan Michael. Mike was known best for his great sense of humor, smarts, and exceptional work ethic. He was born and raised in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and graduated from Divine Child High School in 1986 before earning his degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Mike enjoyed a successful career in technology, working for companies such as EDS, Henry Ford Healthcare and most recently, Meridian Healthcare. He fought an extraordinarily courageous battle with cancer since being diagnosed in 2016.

In addition to his loving children, Mike is survived by parents Ted and Fran Starosciak, brothers Mark and Matt Starosciak, sister-in-law Kaye Anne (Pappas), dedicated friend and former wife Tirzah, and her husband Joe Gavlinski, five nieces and many other family members and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday December 7, from 3:30 p.m. until time of memorial service 7:00 p.m. Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. A memorial mass will be held in the summer of 2019.
