Mary Lou Williams, age 83 passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024.
Mary Lou Davis was born May 10, 1941 in Detroit, MI. One of eleven children born to the union of Willie Davis and Ethel Mae Summerville. Both preceded her in death.
Mary was educated in the Detroit Public Schools and graduated from Northwestern HS. At an early age she attended Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical until an early retirement.
Mary made her spiritual transition on May 20, 2024. Preceding her in death were four sisters- Marjorie (Blanche), Sharon (Rosetta), Charlene and Ethelyn (Elaine) and two brothers Ervin and Charles.
She leaves to cherish in her memory, two sisters, Margaret and Gail, two brothers, Willie and Melvin. Along with a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
