Manfred was a beloved husband for 49 years to Helen Schreiber; Loving father to Hans (Debbie) Schreiber and Catherine (Sean) Crottie; Cherished grandfather to Reese, Rhyan, Jamison, and Jackson; dearest friend to many especially those in the Sand Lake community.
Manfred has a profound love for fishing and hunting, activities that brought him joy and a connection to nature. He always found great satisfaction in giving back to his community, a commitment he honored through his 40-year membership with the Lions Club. Not only was he a devoted husband and father, but his greatest joy came from being an Opa to his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them above all else.
A visitation for Manfred will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
