John M. Pope age 71, a long time resident of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. John was born April 24, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan, husband of Diane. Father of David Pope of Madison Heights, Michigan and Beth Ann (James) Kokotovich of Royal Oak, Michigan, grandfather of Rebecca and Kayla. Brother of Diane (Earl) Wheeler of Ferndale, Michigan and Doris (David) Moore of Lincoln Park, Michigan. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John is a veteran of the United States Army - Vietnam and he retired form Ford Motor - Sterling Heights in 2003.
