James J. McCarthy age 88, passed away on Friday October 23, 2020. James was born August 3, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa. Beloved husband of Delores. Dear father of Debbie (David Powers) Wiles, Kevin (Nicole) McCarthy and Kelly McCarthy. Loving grandfather of Adam, Emily, Mackenzie and Ella. Brother of John McCarthy and Ruth Ann Perry. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 28, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. A funeral mass will be held for James on Thursday October 29, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church 28253 Herbert Street Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. Burial White Chapel Cemetery Troy, Michigan.
