Helga Sophie Thompson age 91, born in Eberbach, Germany and is the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Berta Gerhig and beloved wife of the late Harold Lloyd Thompson.

Our Beloved Mother sadly passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2019. Her beautiful life will be cherished forever in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Helga is survived by her only son, Charles Gene Thompson, daughters Patricia (John) Clark, Linda (Robert) Shefferly, and Betty Thompson. Loving grandmother of Nicole (Donald) Franzoni, Jennifer (Clell) Strong, and Kelly (Andrew) Nelson. Great grandmother of Jacob, Marissa, Brandon, Joshua, Madison and Wilder.

Visitation will be held on February 14th, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
