I know people say, this sort of thing all the time, but she truly was one of a kind. Those who knew her, know how true that is.

My dear Aunt Honey was always interested in who you were and what you were doing, and had a stunning archival memory for detail.

I loved her so dearly and I miss her smile, wit, and laughter. 

Everyone touched by her life was better for it.

She leaves an enormous hole in our hearts.

Knowing her changed my life.
Losing her did the same.



I am so very sorry to learn of “Mrs.  Clare” passing.  Your mom and my grandma (Margaret Wolframe) were special friends for so many years. I used to love getting to see her when I came to visit my grandma - and she was always there for our family during  difficult times. I hope the two of them are together again, laughing and catching up.

I have admired Aunt Honey my entire life. She was loving and unconditional like my mother. Her trials were relentless and more dependable was her love and joyful heart. She inspires me to maintain joy through rough times and good. Her love was genuine and comforting. Her love and memory will live on in all of us who were blessed to interact with her and share in her warm glow. All my love to all

Rest in Peace my dear friend!! I will miss our long friendship, our Wednesday night chocolate and ice cream nights watching Masked Singer, and our almost daily texting messages just to say hi and what's going on. We've worked together, prayed together, laughed together for so many years. I will love and miss you always.

Aunt Honey was loved by all. As a youngster I recall a visit when her father lived with her. I remember talking with him for some time. He was very kind. Her heart was even bigger than his. Our family ..Tom Millen ‘s  loved her and of course her cooking.  I will miss her dearly.  Love and prayers to her family. Susan McAndrews

Aunt Honey was the most fun to hang out with! She’d take you to her favorite coffee place, introduce you to those folks at Hallmark (they thought we were sisters) and drive you to see your cousins who weren’t even Millens! She was a fearless and friendly adventurous lady. Robbie

Aunt Clarice (aka Honey) was as sweet as her name. She loved lighthouses, her kids and grands and  greats, her huge family and friends to numerous to count. We laughed so hard over silly things, she filled me in on mysteries of my family that I had always wondered about, and had the ability to wear these outrageously wonderful glasses with grace and charm. She was one in a billion and will be greatly missed and will always be in my heart! Robbie

Aunt Honey was the best Godmother!! She always remembered my birthday with a sweet note and card. Some of my fondest memories as a child was spending time with her and Uncle Mike.  Her love was palpable, her sense of humor unmatched(..well maybe by her daughter).. her devotion as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother   And Aunt will be missed but her memory lives on in our hearts.

So sad to hear of Clarice’s passing. I remember talking to her way back when she worked at Minnesota Fabrics. Through the years she always had a warm smile and would greet us and joke with us after mass. Such a wonderful lady. May the angels welcome her to paradise!

I will miss her so very much!  She's one of the very few people that walked this earth with a pre-stamped, first class, ticket to Heaven.  A beautiful, kind and loving woman, and we were so blessed that God shared her with us!

Clarice was very helpful and assisted me serving coffee and donuts at St. Vincent Ferrer. That wasn't a single occasion but once and sometimes twice a month during the year. Clarice also assisted at funeral luncheons held at the church. She will be missed not only for her help but also for her kind and generous nature. May her rewards be great in heaven.

I'll always remember our Red Hat luncheons with fondness as Clarice was a mainstay and a mover for the group. We will miss her very much. Her kindness and generosity was an integral part of who she was.


I will treasure our after Mass donut conversations! Clarice was always so kind! 
Eternal rest grant onto her and may the perpetual light shine upon her. 

Aunt Honey was my favorite lunch date.  She met me about once a month somewhere in Warren.  It was a great change of pace for my work day.  She kept me up to date on the family.  She always had a smile, words and prayers of encouragement. 

She'll always be in our hearts,  I'll miss her greatly!

She was and always will be Cousin Honey to me,  A lovelier, sweeter, kinder and more caring individual you never met.  I was fortunate enough to sit next to her at her 90th birthday gala. What memories were made that day, as well as past memories shared.  She was a family treasure and will be missed by everyone who ever met her. Eternal peace to you, Dear Cousin Honey. Another leaf fallen off our family tree.
