Suzanne Knowlton, age 78 of Madison passed away on August 10, 2012, surrounded by the love of her family. Suzanne was born in St Louis, MO on July 7, 1934 to the late Paul C. and Marjorie (Jones) Knowlton. As a child, Sue and her family spent their summers in Madison, CT. She graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1952 where she was very involved in multiple school activities, as well as sports and theater. Art was her utmost interest, which flowed deeper and broader than paint on canvas. Her artistic abilities were expressed in every aspect of her life and all lives that she touched. Her greatest passion in life was being the loving mother to her two children, Pam and Chet. She began her career as a Dental Assistant, in Missouri. Which she continued once she moved to Connecticut in 1973. She will be remembered by all as one of the most incredible, selfless, caring, loving woman imaginable. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Besides her parents, Suzanne was predeceased by her sister Jane Malik and brother Paul C. Knowlton III. She is survived by her daughter Pam Shakofsky and her husband Leo; son Chet Zuroweste and his spouse Leigh Van Hennik; her grandchildren Madeleine, Ryan and Devon; great grandchildren Leo and Laine, and lifelong companion Dewey Zuroweste.
