Rosemary Ann Vidoli of Guilford, Connecticut passed away on Sunday March 9, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born on September 29, 1934, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where she grew up and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1952.
Rosemary’s dream was to be a nurse but as life would have it, she dedicated her life to caring for her mother most of her childhood and into early adulthood until her mother’s death. Rosemary’s nursing skills came to the forefront once again as she lovingly cared for her husband through his illness for 24 years of their 47-year marriage. Rosemary’s marriage was her ‘happily ever after’. She was an amazing wife and mother who adored her husband and children. She was an extremely proud grandmother of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She absolutely loved watching them grow and develop into beautiful little people.
She was an active, involved member of the Killingworth Congregational Church. She was famous for her baked goods, especially her pies. Rosemary’s counted cross stitch pieces are truly works of art and are well known among her friends and family. She treasured every moment with her friends and family, always welcoming them to her home with a smile and a plate of cookies. Rosemary was passionate about gardening with an eye for butterflies and hummingbirds.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Arthur Vidoli and her parents Henry and Angelina (Massimiano) Caropreso, all her siblings; Louis J., Jennie Pastore, Harry, Edward A., Antoinette Carnevale, Ralph, Arthur E., Albert Edward and one grandchild Gaston Henry Lynskey.
