In loving memory of Ronald H. Freytag,
Born in the Bronx, NY on March 31, 1938 to the late Hans and Lillian Freytag. He was a Captain in the Merchant Marines for 30 years for the U.S. Lines. Ronald was a Coast Guard veteran, saving his crewmates with no regard for his own life. He graduated from the Maritime College at Ft. Schuyler in NY. He worked as a bartender at the Dolly Madison. He was a loving husband to Susan; father of James and Ronald; grandfather of Sabrina, Anthony, and James, Jr. Freytag. He was a great and loving man and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Ronald was predeceased by his sister Irmguard Freytag. Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison on Friday January, 7, 2011 from 3 – 7pm.
