Robert Alan Fryrear, born on April 13, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, in Madison, Connecticut. He was the beloved son of the late Robert Avis and Mable Fryrear.
Predeceased by his cherished wife, Jean Fryrear, Robert is survived by his two loving children: Sandra Fryrear Khoobani, along with her husband Freydoon of Garrison, New York, and Steven Fryrear of New Haven. He also leaves behind his granddaughter, Alexandra Azadeh Ryan, and her husband Jesse, as well as his great-granddaughter Phoenix, his brother Richard Fryrear from Chicago and extended family in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In his retirement, Robert fully embraced his passions, living life to the fullest. He was an avid golfer throughout his life and found joy in sailing, writing, playing the guitar, and dancing.
Robert's warmth and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. May his memory bring comfort to his family and friends during this time of loss.
