Peter Corbin Kohn, 38, of Madison and New Haven, passed away March 18, 2012. He was born August 23, 1973 in New Haven to George Childs Kohn and Jutta (Knechtsberger) Kohn. Peter is survived by parents, sister, Christina Childs Caplan, and her husband Lee of Vienna, VA, nephew, Luke Caplan, nieces, Nicole and Natalie Caplan. Also survived by
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and step-grandmother, Mrs. P. Corbin Kohn of Bloomfield, CT, as well as devoted, kind
friends, John Murphy and Clinton Brooks. Peter was a 1992 graduate of Daniel Hand High School and a 1996 graduate of Princeton University, School of Architecture, where he received the Shellman Drawing Award. He also graduated from Yale University, School of Architecture, where he earned a Masters Degree in 2001. He worked for a number of architecture firms in Washington, D.C., Miami, FL, and CT, as a licensed architect in CT and NY, and obtained AIA membership and LEED accreditation. We will miss him dearly. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM Monday, April 2, at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison.
