Mary E Reider

Our beloved mother, Mary Elizabeth (Kyttle) Reider, 94, passed away on March 25,2025 at home with family by her side. Mary was born on July 12, 1930, in Salem Township, Beach Haven, Luzern County, PA.

She was the youngest of 10 children, and she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Kyttle (original owners of Kyttle Grocery Store) of Madison, CT.

She was a long-time employee at Cheesebrough Ponds (Unilever) in Clinton, CT.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Elwood (Frenchy) Reider and her 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her 6 children; sons, Bruce and his wife Beth, West Columbia, SC, Allen Reider, and Ray Reider, Madison, CT, and Larry Reider, Cape Canaveral, FL and her daughters, Sarah Reider, Clinton, CT and Bonnie (Reider) Misajon and her husband Rey, Milford, DE, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a great grand daughter.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at West Cemetery in Madison, CT on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00am.

We would like to thank the Middlesex Health Care at Home and Middlesex Hospice Care at Home for taking great care of our mother.
