Jack was born in Aurora, IL, November 22nd, 1939, to John A. and Anna (Dekan) Wiesbrock. He grew up in the Wheaton-Warrenville, IL, area and attended its public schools. He always kept in touch with old high school friends.
Jack received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 1962, and then enlisted for a short term of duty with the U.S. Army, followed by years in the army reserves. He worked for standard oil of New Jersey before becoming a pilot with Trans World Airlines (T.W.A.), a job he loved. In past years he belonged to the Madison Racquet Club and the Madison Country Club. Jack was a fan of many sports, but golf was a lifelong activity for him. He made many good friends through golf, especially John Ashton of Madison.
He leaves his wife, Charlotte; children John W. Wiesbrock (Colleen O’Connor) of Madison, Sarah M. Wiesbrock (Arnaud Lacroix) of Houston TX; and two grandchildren he adored, John F. and Chloe Wiesbrock of Madison, CT.
He also leaves his sisters, Jeanette Wiesbrock of Wheaton, IL, Margaret Welsh (Neil) of Good Hope, IL; brother David Wiesbrock (Paula Gaus) of Dallas, TX, and many cousins and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Catherine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Rd. Madison, CT 06443. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
