Florence Brasser

Florence Lillian Olson Brasser of Madison, Conn., passed away on May 7, 2013, at the age of 71. Florence was born in St. Albans, New York to Walter and Florence Olson, and was married for 41 years to the late Ronald C. Brasser. Florence graduated from Susquehanna University and Central Connecticut State University. Florence worked for The Stone School of Business, Facilities Resource Management, and United Cleaning and Restoration. Florence was passionate gardener and worked at The Seasonal Shop after her retirement. Florence was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as an active member of the Lutheran Church of Madison. Florence is survived by daughters Julia married to Robert Stewart of Boston, MA, and Denise married to Terry Reilly of Lovettsville, VA, who have four children, Chloe, Lilly, Cavan, and Logan; by her sister, Carolyn Campbell, of Commack, NY; by her sister- and brother-in-law Susan and Joseph Gunther of Sterling MA; and by her faithful feline companion, Chubby Wubby.

Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison, on Monday May 13, 2013 from 5-8pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 10:00am at the Lutheran Church of Madison, followed by burial at North Madison West Side Cemetery on Race Hill Rd.
