Beth and I were Board Members for the Longwood Symphony Orchestra where she served as Treasurer.  I enjoyed our friendship during this time and her wonderful sense of humor.  She helped with LSO outreach to engage concert attendees who were season subscribers as well as with the Annual Fundraising Gala -- snagged a European River cruise, brought her parents and brother,  and a great time was had by all.  She was so full of life.  We will all miss her


To the Benham family,

I worked with Beth as her banker for over 20 years, and wanted to send my sincere condolences to all of you.  Beth was a joy to work with, patient, kind, and knowledgeable.  She always took the time to stop in my office and chat, smiling and cheerful regardless of any struggle she may having been going through.  She also took the time to attend a few bank events with me, and I truly enjoyed that extra time I had to spend with her.  I will miss her phone calls and visits, and will pray for all of you during this most difficult time.  I am so sorry for your  loss.

Beth was in my first grade class in Alice Peck School. At the time I lived on Still Hill Rd, Hamden Ct., my family moved to Madison after that, but I thought of her often.  She was a lovely person, inside and out. My very sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Beth and I have been friends for over 30 years.  For many of those years, we maintained a long distance friendship taking turns traveling between Texas and Boston every couple of years with phone calls to catch up in between.  In 2011, we went international with a trip to Germany and Austria.  The attached picture was taken at Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria.

Beth loved jewelry and fun clothes, going to craft shows and antiquing.  She enjoyed the Symphony and dressing up.   She never missed an opportunity to “go for it” and handled challenges that came her way with style and grace.  I am very sad that I will not see her again but am so grateful for the many fun times we had.


Beth was a kind, compassionate, confident, loving friend and former colleague. I met her in 1990 while working at Deloitte. She was a pleasure to work with, always welcoming and the ultimate team player.  A small group of us that met at the firm maintained a friendship for over three decades through job changes, house moves and family commitments. Beth was always positive through the best and worst times. She would always see the good above the bad. She lived her life independently and to the fullest. She was passionate about her faith, music and home renovations over the years. When our group gathered, Beth would bring “sparkle” to the event with her bold choice in fashion and many different hair colors. I enjoyed teasing her about this and she accepted it with great humor and grace. There is certainly a little more “sparkle” in heaven now. Our dear friend will be sorely missed.

This is a picture of us at our graduation from Bentley with our masters in tax.  Beth convinced me to go to graduation.  I have a lot of fond memories of Beth.  When the girls were little,  we went to her Beacon Hill Condo and she taught them how to make beaded necklaces.  They were so excited.  So many more good memories, from taking a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon to our daily walks around the commons during tax season.  May she Rest In Peace.  Love Marcia
