Consiglio (Connie) Ann Rossini passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elio Albert Rossini. She was born on June 13, 1932 in Woodside, New York to Frank and Anna (Ussorio) Celandano, and was the eldest of three daughters. Connie graduated from All Saints Commercial High School in Brooklyn, and worked several secretarial jobs in New York City. She met her soon to be husband while working at Aviquipo, Inc. and they married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ridgefield, Connecticut in April 1954. Over the course of their 64 years of marriage, they lived in several locations, initially in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then returning to New England where they resided in East Haven, Clinton and Madison, Connecticut in that order, during which time they raised four children. After retirement, they moved to Florida where they spent 15 years before moving back to Windsor, Connecticut to be closer to family.
During her life Connie enjoyed developing her skills as a painter and even shared her passion by teaching others her craft. Her faith was an important part of her life and she gave a lot of her time to her church including serving as a Eucharistic Minister at parishes she belonged to in both Florida and Connecticut. She enjoyed a variety of past times including playing golf, gardening and cooking. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her sisters Marion Kulisan and Frances Providenti, son Mark Rossini and his wife Janet and their two children Eric and Brian, son Albert Rossini and his wife Diane Palmeri and their daughter Taylor, daughter Elizabeth Rossini and her husband James Meese and their two children Elliott and Anna, son Thomas Rossini and his two children Sean and Brittany.
Because of current Covid concerns, future services for Connie will be at the discretion of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you keep the memory of her alive by sharing acts of kindness with others.
