Wynelle H. Turner

Wynelle Hiett Turner, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Joey L. Vinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 866 Mulberry St., Macon GA 31201.

Mrs. Turner was born in Danville, Georgia to the late Hartley Waldon and Hester Jane Hiett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen W. Turner and brother, “Buck” Hiett and sister, Lillian Vinson. She was retired from INA after many years of service and was a longterm member of Northridge Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her children; Jane (Ricky) Sanders of Wedgefield, SC, Robert S. (Debbie) Turner of Warner Robins, grandchildren; Teresa T. (Terrell) Tidwell, Tonya N. (Alex) Rozier, Christa A. (Matthew) Buford, great grandchildren; Corey Lee Burks, Christopher Robert Burks, Abigail Grace Rozier, and Loralai Hope Rozier, and her close friend “Sintwister” Margie Wyatt.
