Wilma Louise Slagle Morris, 79, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her residence after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday in Westside Baptist Church, Warner Robins with the Rev. Mike Parker officiating. The family will meet friends from 4 p.m. to service time on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 3 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston, SC. Mrs. Morris, wife of the late Max H. Morris, was born in Flagpond, TN the daughter of the late Edward and Olive Blankenship Slagle. She was a graduate of Black Mountain High School and a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Old Fort, NC and Westside Baptist Church, Warner Robins, GA.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Lee (Cindy) Morris of Grovetown, GA and Avery M. (Judy) Morris of Byron, GA; her daughters, Beverly Lynn Morris of Greenville, SC and Belinda Michelle Morris of Byron, GA; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren two sisters, Dorothy LeFevre of Craig, CO and Beatrice Hendley of Woodruff, SC and her dog, Tiny.
