Willie Harold White passed away at Pine Pointe Hospice on January 25, 2019 surrounded by family. A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Grinstead officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harold was born on August 4, 1940 in Washington County, Georgia to the late Willie and Doris White. Harold married the love of his life, Joyce White, on June 5, 1958. They were married for 42 years. Harold was a problem solver and especially loved fixing cars. He dedicated 29 years of service to Bibb County Public Works as the shop superintendent. He also coached Southern Express softball team for several years. Harold loved all things southern, like NASCAR, baseball, and eagles. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, taking trips to the mountains, and taking care of his home and cars.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Angie White, James White, and Dina Judd; grandchildren Brigitte (Nathan) Kittrell, James White, and Lauren Judd; great grandchildren Gemma and Thea Kittrell; sister, Debbie Cupp. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce, and his brother Jimmy Hunnicutt.
In lieu of flowers, family is asking for donations to be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
