Macon – Willie H. Lundy passed away July 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Rex. Odom will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
Mr. Lundy was born in Tennille, GA to the late Melvin Davis Lundy and Annie Mary Hitchcock, and was the widow of Norma Cox Lundy. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Supervisor, and served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during WWII. Mr. Lundy was also a member of Bass United Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors and especially fishing with his wife Norma
Survivors include his sons, Greg Lundy (Ellen) of Woodstock, Russell Lundy (Tammy) of Baldwin, GA, and Clay Lundy (Myra) of Forsyth; sister, Patricia Lundy of Kennesaw; brother, Melvin Lundy of Lancaster, PA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
