William “Bill” Fletcher Terry, 58, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2012. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date on Tybee Beach. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Macon Animal Control, 1010 Eleventh St., Macon GA 31201.
Mr. Terry was born in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late Fletcher and Valentine Terry. He was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College and was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. He was retired from Charter Medical Corporation and managed 20’s Pub for several years. Mr. Terry was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He loved his cat companion “Lowenstein”.
He is survived by his wife, Mary “Prissy” Clark Terry of Macon, two sons, William F. Terry, Jr. of Macon and John R. Terry of Macon, sister, Jane (Charles) Grinstead of Macon, nephew, Charles (Georgia) Grinstead of Macon.
