William Walton Kennedy

William Walton "Walt" Kennedy, 87, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at a local hospice facility. The family will greet friends from 10:30am - 11:00am, Wednesday, November 8, 2023, graveside at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Services will follow at 11:00am with Mr. Chad Miller officiating.

Mr. Kennedy was born October 27, 1936, in Madison, Georgia to the late John E. Kennedy and Lillie Mae Wheeler Kennedy. He was retired from Keebler Corporation and honorably served his country with the United States Navy. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his wife: Geraldine Arrington Kennedy and a step-son: David Arrington.

Survivors include his stepchildren: Wanda Killgo (Gerald), Michael Arrington (Karen) and Cindy Daniels (Terry); sisters: Gwendolyn Hamby, Carolyn Hawk (Elmer), Evelyn Cureton and Janie Kennedy; multiple nieces and nephews to include: Chad Miller (Brandee), Aubree Miller (Brandi) and Caden Miller; and by a sister-in-law: Rachel Miller (Ray).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Critical Care Animal Angels, 7649 Houston Road, Byron, Georgia 31008.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at both John Wesley Villas as well as Pine Pointe Hospice, for their attentive care and compassion shown to Mr. Kennedy.
