William C. Evans, 84, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Noon in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Benjamin Newberry officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 5420 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta GA 30342.
William was born in Rentz, Georgia to the late Felton F. and Geneva Williams Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Thomas, son, Michael Evans and sister, Pat Durden. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a devoted and loving, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. (Scott) Biddulph of Canton, grandchildren, Amanda McLendon of Canton, Brad (Jessica) Lindsey of Canton, Blake Evans of Warner Robins, Clint (Ana) Evans of Macon, Lauren (Ryan) Belom of Canton, great grandchildren, Evan Lindsey, Mason McLendon, Violet Lindsey, and Ryan Belom, brother, Randall Evans of Macon, several nieces and nephews, step-daughters, Kim Meadows and Wanda Grimsley and step-grandchildren, Dustin and Sierra.
