A visitation for Wanda will be held Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Snow's Funerals & Cremations at Macon Memorial Park, 3969 Mercer University Drive, Macon, Georgia 31204, followed by a Celebration of her Life at 3:00 PM. Pastor Eddie Braswell will officiate.
Wanda was born in Milledgeville, Georgia the daughter of the late Eugene Allen and was preceded in death by a daughter, Johnnie Jean Jannie Halligan. She was retired from the Baldwin County Board of Education and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Baldwin County. Wanda was also very active with the Boy Scouts of America in her earlier days.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Johnny Randall Halligan of Milledgeville; daughter, Christina Halligan Osborne (Lewis) of Baldwin County; grandchildren, Nicole Osborne (Melissa Davis), T J Osborne (Kennedy), Maliq Ricks (Jamerial Jackson), Maurice Ricks (Maliza Mitchell), Marco Kitchens; great-grandchildren, Bailey Osborne, Solomon London, Holden Osborne, Lewis Osborne, and Harrison Osborne; mother, Dorothy Woodall Allen; sister, Donna Yawn (Glen); a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
