Walter "Walt" Sansbury Lee Sr.

Walter “Walt” Sansbury Lee, Sr., 75, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2022 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Burial will be private for family only. The family will greet friends following the service and asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Walt was born in Macon, the son of the late Constance Sansbury Lee and Robert Edward Lee. He was a local business owner and was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church. Walt was a graduate of Lanier High School and the University of Georgia.

Walt is survived by his wife of 26 years, Diane Roach Lee; children, Walter “Sandy” S. Lee, Jr. (Amy), Meredith "Kristin" Lee Weiner (Christopher); step-daughters, Carley Marie Carden, and Amy Elizabeth Adams; grandchildren, Owen and Josie Lee; step-grandchildren, Annie and Everett Adams; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Edward Lee, Jr. (Jan) and Leland William Lee; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
