Vivian E. Ross, 89, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 after having fought a good fight with courage for the past ten months. Graveside services and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Neal Wall officiating. The family will meet friends on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Ross was born in Carthage, TN to the late Bice and Willie Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.D. Ross, her siblings, Douglas Gibson, Bob Gibson, Juanita Billingslea and Jackie Freeman. Mrs. Ross was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Ricky) Jones of Gray, Carolyne Mauldin of Gadsen, AL, Donita (Bob) Love of Charlotte, NC, Tommy Ross of LaGrange, Raymond (Teri) Ross of Macon, adopted daughter, Pat Hollis, grandchildren, April (Alex) Vickers of Gray, Jennifer (Louis) Tanner of Gray, Richie Ross of LaGrange, Chad Mauldin of Macon, Jay (Karen) Ross of Warner Robins, Wes (Allison) Ross of Macon, ten great grandchildren and one due in August, sister, Onean Key of Charlotte, NC, special friends, Joanne Wimberly and Diane Dubose and several nieces and nephews.
